A Therapeutic Practice for Healthy Aging

Therapeutic Yoga can improve respiratory and cardiovascular function, it can relieve anxiety and depression, ease pain, and chronic stress. Through yoga, senior citizens can feel empowered to take care of themselves. Different parts of their brain get stimulated which can bring more happiness to their lives and make them emotionally more balanced. Through the course of my work at The Variel of Woodland Hills, retirement community, I work with different levels of abilities and mobilities through various classes for independent individuals and assisted Living section.
